Compliments
Hi there
Thought you'd like to see how hard Sandy is finding it to settle in Melbourne! Yeah right! She has her own seat-belt that attaches to her halter and she has her own seat at the back of my little Colt. She also has a rubber mat to sit on so she doesn't slip and slid at the back.
She now has two friends to keep her company and we can't wait to get a bigger house with a garden where we can let them all out together to chase each other around. We have two kittens and the ginger chap is in love with Sandy. In the mornings when the kittens come through from where they sleep (laundry room) the ginger chap goes running up to her and rubs himself all over her. She tolerates it in small doses with a wagging tail. Then gets all embarrassed because of the way the cat is carrying on. The little black kitten just sits and watches this with a 'what ever' expression on her face.
On Easter Monday we took her to Warrandyte and she got her toes wet in the Yarra River for the first time. She had a ball and here are a few photos to share with you and the staff that looked after her while she was with you. She is now getting use to being with other dogs again without having to show any aggression so we are really proud of her for that. She gets lots of love and praise when ever she lets other dogs near her and wants to play. On Monday she didn't have much of a choice as two other dogs came to help her fetch her ball out of the water and they were a tad faster than she was. She’s still looking good. She has the family room to herself to sleep in at night with her big cushion.
When I put my takkies on she gets so excited as she knows that it means that we are going for a walk and she starts to run backwards and forwards to the front door.
Regards to you all
