Dear All,
We write to let you know that our pumpkins have travelled very well and have arrived at Eastern Creek Quarantine Station in very good condition. They were checked by a veterinarian who was especially impressed with Blue’s condition, considering his age and we were all in agreement that both Flugie and Blue were evidently treated with very special care and attention.
It was a huge relief and blessing to see them in such a good state. No words can match the gratefulness we feel toward all who took it upon themselves to provide such loving care, with special and many, many thanks to Colin, Chanel and Pauline.
When we undertook to take the journey to Australia, the most difficult decision of all was to place our babies in quarantine for 6 months. Little did we know that quarantine at Keringa would turn out to be a great pampering experience for our cats surrounded by truly gifted staff. Not only did our kitties receive all the attention required and much more, but we were regularly updated with very comforting news. After all, parting with one’s loved pets is emotionally draining and very challenging. Chanel’s and Colin’s kind words enabled us to muster the strength and pull through the difficult time apart. Thank you to Chanel and Colin for knowing how to deal with our emotions! You are both very special people.
We thank everyone at the Emigration Division for spoiling Flugie & Blue, for taking special care of Blue’s needs and health condition - making it possible for an old cat to travel comfortably across the world and finally – for allowing them to keep their unique little characters and reuniting them with their family. Flugie immediately came to us & started to purr, and Blue enjoyed being hand fed. We have been praising Keringa all along and have been told at Eastern Creek that your service is of an exceptionally high standard.
We wish you all every success in the future and hope that many more lovely animals are reunited with their families through your commendable effort.
