Chenin is a 10 year old Bully and a very important member of our family. When we left South Africa we had grave concerns about putting a 9 year old dog in quarantine for 7 months. However, weighing up positives and negatives, we could just not face it to leave her behind and decided to bring her with to Australia.

I can honestly say, best decision we could have made! Keringa took exceptional care from the time she was entered into quarantine until after she arrived here safely. I think she made quite an impression on the staff there and was praised for her lovely nature. Her skin improved during quarantine, she lost a bit of weight (which she needed to!) and arrived in Melbourne in excellent condition. She needed a cancerous growth removed whilst in Keringa and they were fantastic with providing me with feedback on a proactive basis. Because it was spotted early there, she has had no further problems to date.

Chenin came home in November and was a bit subdued and unsure of herself for approximately 2 weeks. We of course showered her with love and she soon forgave us! Ever since then she has been the same old Chennie, we adore with all our hearts. She is now 10 and a half and thankfully in excellent shape. She walks 3 km's every day and you would think she is a much younger dog. Was it worth the worry and the money spent to see her so happy and settled now in her old age. Absolutely!
