To everyone at Keringa including Colin, Robert and Danuta,
Our two girls, Jess and Bella Lilley, who spent six months with you in quarantine at Keringa from Sept 08 to April 09, have been with us now in Newcastle, Australia for five months. They are loving Australia, their walks on the beautiful beaches and all the new smells in the parks and especially the fascination of possums and blue-tongue lizards in the garden. It took them a while to settle and really believe they were with us for good but with lots of love from us are extremely happy and well adjusted in their new home. We are very relieved, thankful and delighted to have them with us.
After inspecting the Sydney quarantine station, we'd highly recommend any other emigrants to leave their doggies as long as possible at Keringa as the facilities and care are far superior in Joburg. And for anyone debating the traumatic decision of whether to take dogs or not, I'd say its really worth it in the end to know your dogs will be well taken care of for all their life by you and your family as opposed to given to new owners you're not sure about.
